Hours and Policies
Dr. Birdsong’s office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10-3 - but the office is generally open Monday-Thursday from 10-4.
If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. You may leave a message about a cancellation on Dr. Birdsong's voicemail at any time at (910) 763-3034.
We respect the confidentiality of all patients seen in this office and ask that you do the same by not revealing their names or discussing any information about them with others. The law protects the privacy of communications between a patient and a psychiatrist. In most situations, we can only release information about your treatment to others if you sign a written Authorization Form that meets certain legal requirements imposed by HIPAA.
While Dr. Birdsong's practice is located in the same office as other mental health practitioners, she is completely independent in providing clinical services. She does not supervise or control any other practitioner's services and is not responsible for any other practitioner's actions. All clinical records are separately maintained from those of other practitioners. All billing is filed independently of other practitioners.
